We are a medium-sized company at the interface between industry, construction, research and standardization.

Founded in 1990 as an affiliated institute of Aachen University of Applied Sciences, we have developed into a modern company with a wide range of services in the field of fluid mechanics. From our headquarters in Aachen, we support clients from all over the world: manufacturers of construction products, renowned architectural firms, general planners in Germany and abroad or the structural engineer "around the corner" - they know our services.

Passing on knowledge is also important to us : every year we present papers at experts events and we supervise students in their final theses.

The skills of our team are broad: from specialized model makers to trained draughtswomen, experienced inspectors and technicians to specialists with doctor's degrees - with us you get everything from a single source.

A few examples? For testing NSHEVs in accordance with EN 12101-2, our workshop creates scaled models based on technical drawings, which are then tested in one of our wind tunnels; for smoke extraction tests, we adapt to the client's requirements; for acceptance measurements of pressurized ventilation systems, we go on-site with our measuring equipment.
