EACWE 2025 in Trondheim - we were there!

To exchange new ideas with peers or report on the latest research: our experts and engineers regularly take an active part in international conferences.

Such as recently, at the EACWE 2025, the 9th European African Conference on Wind Engineering which was held from June 16 to June 19 in Trondheim, Norway and brought together 300 scientists and experts on wind engineering and technology from 64 different countries around the world.

Daniel Markus, head of department for building aerodynamics and analyses of PV-systems at I.F.I., was at the conference to present the results of our latest research on terrain effects on the wind loads of ground-mount PV systems, a very interesting topic since the type and situation of places where ground-mount PV systems are installed are getting more diverse and complex by the day.
